Thomas Bennett House
The windows and stair shadow are at the dependency of the Thomas Bennet house on Barre Street in Charleston. Then governor, Thomas Bennett , built the house between 1822-25.
In the early years the dependency was used as kitchen quarters to the main house and in later years as a residence for medical students at the near by Medical College of South Carolina.
It now houses the offices of the Medical Society of South Carolina. This society was founded Christmas Eve, 1789 and is the 4th oldest medical society in existence.
